Embark on a captivating exploration of the deep connections between Nordic folk music and nature with the musicians Rebekka Ingibjartsdóttir and Jón Arnar Einarsson. Norðfólk invites audiences to experience the dramatic landscapes of Iceland and Norway through the lens of their rich musical heritage. This journey will unravel the intricate ties between the natural world and folk traditions of both countries, revealing how the raw power of nature mirrors the profound relationship between performers and their audience.


Starting in Car Park 2 under Harpa, the concert will move through various spaces, including Hörpuhorn and finally concluding in Norðurljós. Norðfólk intend to make use of Harpa's diverse spaces, interactive arrangements and original adaptations along with storytelling to actively engage concertgoers, and hopefully fostering a lasting and enriching connection with Nordic folk traditions, leaving a memorable experience for both performers and audience.
