Born in Poland (2000), an avid chamber musician, Miki came to London in 2019 to pursue his bachelor's degree in Royal Academy of Music studying Cello with Josephine Knight. At the Academy he had a privilege to benefit from working with Musicians such as: Adrian Brendel, Guy Johnston, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Joanna MacGregor, Ed Gardner and Semyon Bychkov. With chamber music being his biggest passion and focus, Miki regularly gives concerts around London with his trio – Temporal Harmonies Inc., as well as his early music ensemble – Londinium Consort, on the Viola da Gamba. 

Some recent highlights include a recital with Londinium Consort, a concert as a part of the NASH ensemble and a concert with Temporal Harmonies Inc. that included two new works commissioned by the Royal Philharmonic Society, all at the Wigmore Hall. Miki also works as a recording artist. His notable collaborations include a recording of Daniel Davis’ song cycle The Cloud with the Sonnen Quartet and Baritone Jonathan Eyres at the Wigmore Hall and a debut album recording with Londinium Consort that is awaiting its official release. 

Miki is committed to working with composers and expanding the repertoire both for the Cello and the various ensembles he is part of. Miki is also passionate about musical outreach and music therapy. RAM’s Open Academy program given Miki the opportunity to learn to lead workshops and concerts for people living with dementia, learning difficulties or children. It is now an integral and especially important aspects of Mikołaj’s music life. Currently Miki is finishing his Master of Music degree at the Royal Academy of Music studying with John Myerscough from the Doric Quartet.
