Nina Vanhoenacker is a Belgian cellist focused on contemporary classical and experimental music. She is part of Extended Music Collective (Britten Pears Young Artist 2025–26) and Inland Ocean. In 2024, she was named one of radio Klara’s “De Twintigers”, a group of promising, emerging musicians from Belgium.
Nina collaborated with composers including Leilehua Lanzilotti, Mark Andre, and David Fennessy, ... Interested in interdisciplinary work, she creates music with film, dance, and visual arts. Her debut solo album, An unbalanced piece of wood (Protomaterial Records - 2026), features innovative cello works by several contemporary composers and herself.
