Ingibjörg Ragnheiður Linnet




Ingibjörg Ragnheiður Linnet is a trumpetplayer that grew up in Kópavogur, Iceland, but lives in Oslo because of her studies. In 2019, she started her bachelor studies in the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, and she gratuated in 2022. Her teachers there were Joakim Agnas, Tom Poulson and Michael Streijffert. In 2022 she startet her master studies in the Norwegian Academy of Music where here teachers are Jonas Haltia, Wim van Hasselt and Thine Thing Helseth. In 2022 Ingibjörg performed the Tomasi trumpet concerto as a soloist with the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra, and she performed the Shostakovich first piano concert together with the pianist Albert Dahlöf and the orchestra of the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. In the autumn 2024 she will perform as a soloist with one of Icelands youth orchestras. Alongside her studies, Ingibjörg has performed with various groups and ensambles in Oslo, played with Elja ensamble and more.
